I've not known Nige long met him through Gill, Becky and Karen, but he always had a smile on his face and joking about, Will always remember him playing tunes like Buddy Smith and Johnnie Mae Mathews. Am at a loss as to what to say. You gave a superb account of your taste and your ove of the music at the 100 Club not too long back mate and it is for that, your love of the scene and all you contrributed that I will remember always. Not many months ago, Nige put me on to a tune - "Get it while it's cheap mate" was his tip. So I did. I paid a tenner for the record that I will play at Bury tomorrow night in your honour my friend. I always end Bury with a ballad - tomorrow will be different but with a very special meaning. Here's to you Nige and I look forward to seeing you in the best attended niter that God can offer. Sleep tight mate............. Lindsay and Nige's family - I am bereft of any words thast could even come close - I am so very sorry. You have all my love and prayers.
