Russ told me that this was a one off acetate done by liverpool band supercharge...

i love it personally ,,think was played for a few weeks the dropped in 78,,but was in his top 20 list in 79..

see what u think?

the sound is so bad on this but its more lts you beat me to the punch- rhetta hughes, so ive been spared supercharge :rolleyes: im pleased cos i grew up next door to group member tony dunmoor and he was a right nob :rolleyes: was russ in the studio when that was cut? im just askin cos this week ive been playing some old wigan casino story tape in the car and he was saying how HE found footsee then HE took it to the studio,took it apart and added the effects :D move over tom moulton!!

Weren't they on Virgin? Had one of their singles, think it was produced by Mr Shania Twain, Mutt Lange.

Have their version of "Cool Jerk" Group were very much in the mode of Dexy's Midnight Runners but not as successful. thumbsup.gif

I'm sure I saw Supercharge Live in Ormskirk in about 75/76 I'm sure it was on the same bill as Mac & Katie Kissoon :unsure: , at Edge Hill College I think. Feck knows what I was doing there, apart from drinking.

Used to have there version of "cool jerk",in a picture sleeve,not bad too!! :huh:
