I would recognise that voice from twenty miles away.

I hate it.

But I love the diversity and open mindedness that let the record be played at a Northern venue because it sounded 'right' at the time as a dance record so wasn't tainted with the wierd inverted racism that prevails in some quarters especially in the mid seventies when the closest most White folks on the Northern Soul scene got to real live Black folks was passing them in the street !

What the f**k has that got to do with anything, one of the most ridiculous statements on here on 2 counts.

Im an inverted racist because I like my soul music to be soulful, f*** me.

And you have to have had a ghetto life to be able to understand soul???

You are getting more bizarre by the day with your opinions, and no doubt the smily is your get out of jail clause .

Watching Solomon Burke singing Somebody To Love, with my ethnic background I suppose I should only listen to The Blues Brothers.

I retreat to my corner, once again bemused and bewildered, and thats without any drugs, although feel the need for a huge gin after reading this.
