Harrogatesoul
Just following on from the Jean Plum thread from the Wants section. Over the years there's been tons of stuff issued - I think -predominantly on P-Vine ( May be wrong here ) - Seems that they , along with Ace / Kent have done a sterling job on the Deep / Sweet / side of things - also a lot of unissued stuff , am I right? Credit wheres credit due I reckon. Do they still knock stuff out ? Does anyone have a decent discography / link ? Any recommendations? binsy
It's a really tricky one the Japanese LPs. Not pressed up in great quantity originally and a lot of them are 20 years old. That said the Frankie Gearing, Harold Burrage-One derf ul, New Jersey groups etc have turned up recently on ebay, and not reached anything like the prices I thought they might. Not sure about P vine listing. Are you interested in any artists in particular? Best Mark Link to comment Social source share
Guest Stuart T
Maybe Ady Croasdell can tell us but I was under the impression that P-Vine and Ace were ultimately related in some way? There was an online discography (incomplete) a few years back but cannot find it now. Very good quality pressings as well. Link to comment Social source share
Guest Stuart T
There you go, loads of the same comps as Kent as far as I can tell, hope you're Japanese is better than mine! https://www.p-vine.com/app.php/mo/Shop/ac/P.../cdgen/gid/3018 Link to comment Social source share
Harrogatesoul
Many thanks Binsy & Stuart Not seen that much P-Vine vinyl myself . Saw the LP's on ebay and thought they would fetch a lot more too. Perhaps the deep / southern market is not what it was? -The deep / southern stuff interests me most. Will have to have a delve into the site Stuart posted up and take a look. ! ATB Rich Link to comment Social source share
