For example on the SPQR Label (Lenis Guess etc) I was always convinced it was SMALL PROFIT QUICK RETURN. But, but, but. as I was watching the Gladiator on the telly a couple of nights ago, Old Russ Crowe had SPQR tattooed on his arm, which turned out to be the sign of the Roman Legion. So whats it to be? Second hand car sales jargon, or Fighting talk. Ed
