Haven't seen one for sale for years.....

Brilliant record.... :D

A friend sold one last summer, think it was for £700? Nice track.

great track

sound bite at

https://www.soul-source.co.uk/index.p...cmd=si&img=2797

up as first track of a irish greg 12 pack from 2003

turn the volume up :D )

From Sep 03

a double 6 pac as in 12 quality tracks rather than 6 from Irish Greg

notes below from that time:

Here are the "long lost" session details.

Rumoured to be lying in a ex-record executive's safe deposit box, they eventually turned up inside a c60 case where Greg had for some obscure reason stored them smile.gif

1.Ocar Perry - Face Reality - Feron

£500 one. A very rare disc and got some spins at Stafford. Get Hunting on Ebay!

2. Explosive Dynamiks - Whole Lotta Love - Leirco

Current CSC monster - see "Carefree" review edition one

3. Starlighters - I never Thought -Durimen

Future monster so get hunting for this uptempo beauty value ?? £150 plus

4. Johnny McCall - I need You - Alteen

One of current csc spins from Flynny, value 70+ one day this will be massive

5. Jobetters - No Explanation - Kevin

Value £40 Dont know much about this one just that its got it all plus B-side

6. Steelers - Just Begining To Love you - Crash

see "Carefree" review

7. OV Wright - Nerve To Cry - Backbeat lp

see carefree review

8 Jesse Davis - Never For Your Love - Cover up

Current Paul McNamara spin

9. Blenders - Tale Of Sadness -DJO

£100 Chicago I think -semi known

10. Fenways - The Fight -Blue Cat

£30 (Get it quick) A record that will go if djs spin it. Remind me of shrine - enough said?

11. Jobettes - What You Going To Do - Kevin

Flipside to "no explanation" and for £40 you just cant be wrong

12. Johnny De'Vigne - I Smell Trouble - Delite

Highly in demand but very rarely heard expect when spun by Dave Holt and Paul Baldwin (£80+) Plus could be speeded up a bit more.

Seems longer ago now, remember the buzz on some of these at the time. The OV Wright is remixed if I remember correctly as the LP is a bit light in the bass. Did the Jesse Davis ever get uncovered because I found out what it was and have now have completely forgotten! Doh! LP only track again. Martin Thompson was also plugging the Explosive Dynamics at the time, must give some of these another airing some time soon.

Someone put me out of my misery. Who played it at Stafford?

I'm thinking it was Gary rRshbrook or Keb. Maybe even both. It is the kind of murder using BPM record Gary used to inflict on us hepped up dancers.

Hi Mike!

I remember Keb playing it around 1984. Not sure if Gary Rushbrooke also played it though.

Jesse Davis track is Ronnie Milsap album track. Mcnamara used to borrow this off me to DJ with along with the O V Wright album.Cover them up and think they were some major finds. Then stole the Vanguards "Good Times" from me, which was nice of him.
