Guest Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Hi does anyone have any realistic idea of the value of a sealed copy of this limited edition CD?. TIA Brilliant Cd, bought this when it came out direct from Hip-oselect, via the net. That track."I Can't Be Hurt Anymore" incredible, why this didn't this get a vinyl release is beyond me....was Berry Gordys daughter a little fed up that morning and would have rather watched "Sesame Street"....sorry no idea of current value, have Hip-Oselect sold out ?
Blake H Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Saw it at the Hilton Weekender (Blackpool) in January at £90, hope this helps. BH

Yes mate they are ! Quality items like this are becoming more and more sort after. They will fetch big money in years to come. The only format you can get it on and limited numbers. No different to the 45 in the 6ts and 7ts me thinks ?

As Gavin said no different in rarity to other collectable formats.Only 3500 pressed, probably rarer than a lot of big money stuff.I had a nightmare getting hold of copies eventually Gary Pelly from Portsmouth got me em. Adam

Guest Paul Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Mine is number 1554 ...which means that 1553 people were way ahead of me. I feel like such a loser. Paul Mooney

Paul Mooney Beats me Paul - Mine's (or should I say the wife's) 1950. It has now been removed from her car, copied and placed in a plazzy bag to preserve its already VG+ condition. Incidentally I loved the British penned For the Shelter of your love which I have played out a couple of times and believe others have too.

Steve G Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Steve can not find the Fred mate ??? It's disappeared I am sure it will come back when Mark B has visited it and reposted on the forum. It was all about an exhibition of W.C and N.S, and I remember something about Winstanley trying to organise such a thing a few months back. Hope you are well and up for " Essence"
