Danny Monday "history" Of?

Does anyone know when and where Danny Monday was first played? Who first played it first and did they cover it up at the time?

I've been told it was Va Va's by Pep and it was covered, but probably not the case.

Also, does anyone remember having a copy of it with 4 strips of 'masking' tape stuck over both sides?

My memory recalls Soul Sam, think he bought it in Norfolk.

Thanks Sheep. So Martin Barnfather bought it in West Winch and then first played at? Coved up?

Dont think it was at the VaVa......that was one of my haunts !

Cats maybe if it was Pep, however, seem to recall this was a later sound than both of these two clubs, however, I may well be mistaken since wasnt Lester Tipton a play from way back when before it broke bigtime and hey, I do remember The Stratoliners getting played when it was little more than a new release.
