Would anyone trust the latest turntables on their beloved Vinyl ? Me personally when price drops i may invest in one  https://www.audioturntable.com/about/index.html
If this works as they say it does, it could rescue some records that sound crap due to surface wear, could also sort out Styrene records that sound crap. :wicked: Interesting

wouldn,t fancy cueing up the records in a hostile laser enviroment though ! It could also have repercussions on ones reproductive organs...

If this works as it says it does then will there now be a market for broken 45s. I can see it now J D Bryant on Shrine broken into 4 pieces but plays on a laser turntable BUY IT NOW on Ebay £5,000. :wicked::lol:

Trouble is, by the time this laser turntable gets down to a reasonable price we can afford (i.e. a half decent direct drive technics design TT say £300-400) my top vinyl will probably be worn out anyway!! :wicked:

I pointed this thing out on an earlier thread about best ways to clean old worn vinyl, There is a place in Bromsgrove Worcs that deals for them over here, trouble is, like i said, they are about £8000 or £9000 at the moment. But,again as i said, VCR's were about £2000 or £3000 when they came out in the early 70's I remember our school running raffles e.t.c to raise the money for one, so give it 12 month's or so & they will probably be affordable !!
