Guest Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 (edited) Deepest apologies:blush: -it's taken me two *^*!◊ı$% days to find the 45 :search: and it IS "The Stereos" on World not "The Saxons" which is what I have written down in itunes. I've given myself a good telling off. I still think there's another version though ? Mumbling Word.mp3 Edited February 20, 2006 by Simon White

I hope so anyway-I gave my copy to someone who admired it in Vienna! It falls into that catagory of records that no one played years ago, but now everyones old enough to appreiciate them? Yep, it's nice and cheap but lovely nevertheless...one of those records I've known for yonks but didn't know what it was..I used to hang out with people who played this kind of stuff 20 years ago before it was popular like it is now cos everybody's getting too old to dance to up tempo..think they were just lazy that's why they liked it. Similarly Lou courtney, Carl Hall and those kind of "Parkers" sounds and this well anything by Sam Cooke is alright by me...lovely stuff

Alan T Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Here's one from me-The Saxons. I think there's another version? I've had this by The Stereos. Can't remember the label but it was one of those moulded labels like Amy/Mala/Bell stuff. It's been a while since i heard it but this sounds exactly the same version. The same group ? Tomo
