Guest Rowly Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 (edited) I think Tony Joe White is brilliant. I've spun his excellent version of Slim Harpo's "Scratch My Back " out a few times in the mod clubs.... a great bit of Funky R&B. Tony Joe White Scratch My Back.mp3 Edited February 18, 2006 by Rowly

Guest Rowly Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I've got his LP's Black & White and The Train I'm On. Any other recommendations? Gene - TJW's version of Polk Salad is the original isn't it? He wrote it!
Gene-r Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I meant what I said - HIS VERSION! The original and best!! Certainly better than Elvis Presley's version!
