Godz I wonder if it was recorded in one go like a lot were in those days, or edited/mixed in the studio from various takes. Fine bit of whistling, anyone know anything about The Funky Sisters. How many people etc

Quite poignant / sad / funny considering it was his last hit . ATB Rich

February 20, 200619 yr Connie McGill & The Visions "I'm So Happy I Found You" on Camille. A wonderful cheap disc with a fantastic whistling 'solo' which is oddly moving. Haven't got a soundfile, but people who are new to this record always seem to be knocked out by it on first heairing. Edited February 20, 200619 yr by garethx
February 20, 200619 yr Accents - New Girl - One Der Ful . https://the.soulclub.org/stream/The_Accents_-_New_Girl.ram Love the label - like the song - lots of whistling - just can't get it out of my head that the group went out on the lash one night and decided to go back to the studio and cut a disc.... Ah the romance of soul music... ATB Rich
