Pete S Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 (edited) Bloke from Australia buys the set of 3 x northern dvd's off me, pays by paypal. I send items out next day. After 5 days he emails asking where his items are, I tell him hang on a couple of days. After 7 days he emails again saying he is furious that his goods haven't arrived and wants an explanation. I say I do not work for the post office and cannot see into the future, but if he waits until 2 weeks is up and nothing has arrived, I will send him replacements free of charge. I don't hear anything off him. Today I look at my ebay feedback and he's left me a negative saying I am "an ebay RAT" and I've stolen his money. I couldn't have been more helpful! So obviously I left him negative but I refunded his money as well. You couldn't make it up. Edited February 14, 2006 by Pete-S

Don't you find it anoying that Ebay don't cancel the negatives even when you can prove that you have done everything by the book !! I have only had one myself , some twat posted a negative on me for not paying for an item. I had paid & recieved the records, which he eventually acknowledged, but Ebay still wouldn't cancel it. So i now have a less than 100% record for ever !!! Also i find the people who mess `you` around the most also seem to give you the most grief when they think they have been messed around !! I sold a few records on Ebay recently & the last one to pay (some 2 to 3 weeks after winning the auction) was emailing me a day after i recieved the cheque (cheque !!) to say that the record haden't arrived !! You just wouldn't credit it would you ? Edited February 14, 2006 by B-side-B

You just wouldn't credit it would you ?e-bay removed a neg against me, I prove I had paid for record within 1 hour of item finishing via paypal, seller had problems were his and my emails weren't getting through to each other, plus he had a paypal a/c problem were he couldn't access his a/c, seller left neg feedback after 3 weeks of trying to get in touch with me. I got in touch with e-bay they investigated, and removed the neg feedback after contacting the seller who agreed as it had been a tech problem. The seller was fine and explained why he had left the neg feedback I understood his reason and have done business since on good terms.

You would start to worry after 5 working days, but the US can vary from 5 days to a month for vinyl. PM me his details Pete and I'll send my heavies round - or I'll try drop in on him, on my upcoming visit m
