Hi all

I'm after this record which is sort of funk / soul

Kelly and the soul explosions - Got a gig on my back / Talkin' about my baby's love - Dynamite 13206

Any info appreciated

Cheers

Rob

great record. the play side northern-wise IMO is 'talking bout my baby's love' which is a late 60s sounding mid tempo dancer, certainly not funk. red label. i think about £100 but don't know.

wil stick sound file up later if no-one else does first.

ps didn't think it was particularly obscure though? not hammered but quite well-known?

Been playing this for the last few years .... fantastic record!

Definitely not funk .... definitely good though :D

Got a gig on my back is a fairly well known Funk side and has gone for as much as £200 !!!!

Its got that big fat break at the start that those Hippity hoppity types seem to favour.

Funk 45 prices are allover the place so £100 seems about right.

With all this info I'm sure Rob will be happy to pay at least £20..

Only kidding. :D

Quality sound, i love both sides.....

Anybody have anything else on the label interesting ?

Flip Flop Stevens...Live your own life/Philly Hump is another obscure one.

Uptempo Funky Northern sound, bought from Keb years ago, maybe a bit too frantic for todays scene ?

Both prod by Willie Stephen..
