Again just a bit of fun (and education....'gee, i didnt know that!').

Some great cover ups over the years....

Had an old tape from Wigan Casino, Russ Winstanley was DJing he had just played some rare obscure instrumental that had packed the floor, & recieved a hefty Hand Clap of approval....Then he spoke that was "Black is Black 75" by the Tamiko's.....it was in fact the instrumental side of the top ten hit featuring Tina Charles " I'm On Fire ".....by 5000 Volts.....

If my memory serves me well it was the Southwind movement, or some thing like that ?

Next up, Gertrude Amberworthy and the Magnifcent Baldini Ensemble featuring the Dry Walling Society Chritmas Choir with their version of Jarret Wallace's - Whenever I think of how bad my life is, I remember it can never be as bad as when you went berserk with my company credit card.

This one goes out the the all Preston Cybermen. Wait for the beat. Shit its pigging finished!

I had ‘I need your love’ by ‘Newby & Johnson’ on my wants list for a couple of years before finding out it was The Patterson Twins on Malaco. Heard on  Mr Searling’s ‘A Cellar Full Of Soul’ show.

Being from ‘down south’ I used to send TDK C120s to PJ Ludlum for him to record the shows for me - he put me into so many great tunes.
