Pete S Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I agree with Tony Smith, it's bloody awful. It's the "Only girl I had" side in case anyone was wondering. Not the New York side. You're right, it's poor.

Guest gaz thomas Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) I was talking to Mick Smith today and he told me he sold a record on Checker for silly money. But he's always so had to get info out of. So what is the rarest record on Checker. Someone must know. I'd like to hear it..... Rob as discussed, yiddish is the rarest 45 on this group of label my mate john evans rip had the other 45 - piano c red not on checker but cadet this is one of my fav chicago 45s all three total class https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G76jv6tAZTw Edited October 11, 2013 by gaz thomas
Guest gaz thomas Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) Piano C Red - One Hundred And Two on Checker is pretty rare I think at least it took ages for me to find a copy! Not necessarily worth a great deal but a terrific R&B dancer I think. It's on Youtube but I don't know how to copy & paste the link! thanks bro, love you forever j always Edited October 11, 2013 by gaz thomas
Steve G Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Yiddish SBA isn't sh*t, it's OK. But not really good enough to play in a club.....Hence it's stayed on the Chess shelf.....a collectors curio for sure!
