45cellar Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Hi Thanks to the Hitsville Soul Club - Record Review. For this one Dee Dee Warwick - Don't You Ever Give Up On Me I can't believe that I have only just heard this record in the last few months. I have been collecting for years, and yet this one escaped my attention, UNTIL NOW! It wasn't easy but I found a eventually found a copy.

Guest Dan Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Me too Dan Perhaps we should start the Senile Dementure Soul Club What? Banana top sound: Al Zeimers and the Forget-me-nots 'Where did I put my specs, baby?' on Great Smell Of Piss (a little local label out of Virginia)
45cellar Posted January 28, 2006 Author Posted January 28, 2006 Me too Dan Perhaps we should start the Senile Dementure Soul Club What? Banana The thing is that even on Manships site the sound sample was for "We've got everything going for us" which is on the other side. I like Dee Dee Warwick and have started to collect her records. When I went searching the Net for this one it just didn't appear on lists. I eventually found 2 copies, both in Europe - 1 demo & 1 issue. I bought the DEMO, the price didn't suggest that it was particulally Rare.

I posted on here about the Harry Deal track on The DVD that Little Stevie is in. Paul McKay said he'd played its loads of times at do's I was at. I was certain it was the first time I'd heard it.

I've got that on album, as far as 60s tracks go (I don't like many) I'll happily admit to loving that one, a quality tune. Roger
