Patto Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Always loved the HONEY TOWNSEND--WORLD AGAIN Instumental much better than WHAT SHALL I DO In My Opinion.
Derek Pearson Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Talking of Stafford, does anybody prefer the vocal by David Walker (I think) to:- Paradox - Ring The Changes - Polydor. Des Parker Never actually been a great lover of instrumentals myself and the only 3 I’ve ever regularly danced to over the years have been “Exus Trek”, NF Porter and Stanley Mitchell. Was at a good mates house a few months ago and he showed me one of his new purchases — Paradox on UK Polydor — was quite surprised really as he doesn’t collect British or instrumentals. Vaguely remembered reading (from Pete Smith I think) about a vocal to it but couldn’t recall any more details. Last release on UK black RCA design or summat? And when I heard it I couldn’t believe just how bad it was. Shocked of Bradford Derek Paradox David Walker https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sFhlY48_4o
Wiggyflat Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Love instrumentals.................nobody plays em anymore.

Guest Droylsdonian Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I love insties, too. At a rough guess, about 25% of everything played at Station Rd. The Explosions' instie of Sam & Kitty's ' I've got something good' was A1.
Wiggyflat Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Hav we had this one yet....... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNsRvQwlXto
Diddy Morgan Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 s.o.u.l ..........burning spear ...........the ultimate instrumental end
JON WILLIS Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 here's one you don't hear STONEY FACE---THE STAR FIRES great instrumental that was played back in the day. Play this out every so often, always gets a good reaction
grant Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I always thought it was but someone posted up a vocal/inst demo recently, unless I dreamt it there is a black canadian issue (same design as the pink demo) that has vocal/instr so may be the confusion Pete?
