Mike Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 jumping in as a chance to solve another long term hughes puzzler that has kept me awake on countless nites:) who can give me the 100% real deal , fact of what was this originally covered up as
Simon T Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 The instrumental was played out as Artie Lewis - Struttin' Time, I think. One pressing is on styrene out of the Monarch pressing plant with a delta number of 101569 which makes it made in the mid 70's. The original came out in 68 or 69. Another pressing has it by 'Joey Dee and The New Starliters' on both the vocal and the intrumental side.
Guest miff Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Got the guitar riff going through my head and started singing it out loud, trouble is ime at work in a control room and it all went quiet, and every body thinks ive lost the plot
John May Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 I had a vinyl copy vocal / instrumental in my sales box for ages, I thought it was a boot, i had £4 on it. Then someone told me to stick £50 on it because it was an original.......... Then spookily I sold it.
