Swifty Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Got a couple of Bobby Frank records recently, one of them is a white label hand written copy of If your'e wondering / I'll give you love - Yung Records YR1002 I believe all the info is actually written by Bobby Frank as there was a record of his on popsike which was autographed and it is the same writing. Would this be a test pressing? Then today I got a copy of Iv'e got to be sure / I know your kind - Yung Records YR1001 Red Issue won them both on ebay (different sellers) just wondered what value , if any, they may be TB only lists one at £40 and JM has one at £100 and the other at £150 so I aint got a clue any advise would be appreciated as I want to sell them (not my cuppa etc.) but don't want to ask silly money Cheers Swifty
Robbk Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I bought that Yung 1001 new in 1965 (or 1966?) in South Los Angeles (Pat's Records). I've looked through literally millions of 45s since then, and remember seeing maybe one or two others of it. I don't remember ever seeing 1002. It's probably not highly demanded, and maybe not super rare. But, surely it would be hard to find when wanted. So, it probably depends upon how many people want it at the same time, as to how much can be received on auction. I don't have a good handle on current sales prices-so won't comment on that.
