Northern Soul Uk Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 (edited) Just seen this for sale on the Bay, Original and up to just over £100 with a day to go. There are no matrix number included in the description. fine you may say? But this is my copy which I know is a boot of the demo How is any poor unsuspecting soul supposed to be able to tell the difference? The difference being mine was £15. Pete S Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 The one at the top is an original, it has a dip before the centre. 2
Gene-r Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Also worth noting that the boots have about 5 or 6 closely spaced run-out grooves. Sound quality is also softer than the original. From memory, the other side of the boot has a black star instead of a red one - is that right? 1

Swifty Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) Even the letter 'C' in COPY looks the same with a bit missing at the base ? Edited November 16, 2012 by SWIFTY
Prophonics 2029 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I had a styrene demo and that has a black star.
Northern Soul Uk Posted November 16, 2012 Author Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) Even the letter 'C' in COPY looks the same with a bit missing at the base ? Yes precisely! My point was really that the seller hasn't entered any real detail about the item, so if anyone didn't know the fact about the dip before the centre, and you can't see the run out grooves on the picture, how would they know what they are buying? Paddy Ferry Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 And the boot has a wood middle against a blue plastic one. At least that's given me a laugh before I go to the dentist, nice one.
