Guest blackbeesoulclub Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Hi, Looking for the above on a Soul Demo if anyone can help? Let me know via PM All the best Paul Bailey
Guest blackbeesoulclub Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Is it the lilac and white swirl issue or the purple swirl?
Peter99 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Used to like hearing this played out back in the day. Remember Derby Assembly Rooms dance floor bouncing to this at the all niters in - err, probably 1979? Peter
Guest blackbeesoulclub Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 It goes off whenever I hear it too mate. Got a lot of nostalgia attached to it then eh?
Peter99 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 (edited) It goes off whenever I hear it too mate. Got a lot of nostalgia attached to it then eh? Lots and lots - my first ever all niter Paul. That mid tempo melancholy still does it for me - and that wonderful voice of course. Hope you get one buddy. Peter Edited November 15, 2012 by Peter99

Peter99 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 (edited) 1979 ? Were you in Prison from about 1969 onwards then ? kegsy Have you been drinking Kegsy old lad? The point I was trying to make was that it reminds of the Derby Assembly Rooms all niters in the late seventies. I don't think my post suggested that the record was released in, or not played prior to, 1979. Or did it? I have been drinking by the way because it's night time. Edited November 15, 2012 by Peter99
Guest blackbeesoulclub Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I have a Tamla Motown 45 of it, but I wont play that out for obvious reasons. It's one of my favourite records and not having it on the original issue is doing my head in. It needs some air time!
