Steveh73 Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 What a great thread and only 1 disco-dissing reply so far! I'll be honest - I really believe that the 12 inch single was one of the great inventions of the 20th Century and some superlative examples of soulful dance/disco sounds are - Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes - Bad Luck - Tom Moulton remix Philly 12 1976 Persuaders - Trying To Love 2 Women - Calla 12, 1976 Moment of Truth - So Much For Love - Salsoul 12, 1976 Ecstasy Passion and Pain - Touch and Go - Roulette 12, 1976/ Cheers Steve.
Dayo Posted January 24, 2006 Author Posted January 24, 2006 (edited) What a great thread and only 1 disco-dissing reply so far! I'll be honest - It's good that people can take their Northern hat off for a while and just think in terms of the groove. Edited January 24, 2006 by Dayo
