Was played as a new release in Wigan by R.S.

Cheap as chips, you can pick a 12" for a fiver.

It came off the album 'The Poet' which is an essential lp you should have in your collection.

cheers

Also fairly easy to pick up on 7" (UK Tamla Motown)

Lists at between £15 - £20.

Heavy plays in South yorkshire over the last ten plus years..... become a little played out if anything.

Managed to pick one up in a natty picture sleeve for 90p ;-)

Was huge in South Yorkshire as a new release my four-legged friend - along with others, such as 'Circles' Atlantic Starr, 'Never had a love so good' Charles Johnson, 'Let somebody love you' Keni Burke et al. All were monster sounds at the Clifton Hall - brand-new stuff alongside 60s, whereever did we go wrong??

cheers

Seem to remember Chapter 8 being her backing band in the early days, is this what you meant or did she actually sing as part of the group Pete?

John

Memory shot away as usual doh!!

She replaced Carolyn Crawford on vocals,I can't remember which album though. Will have a rummage through, see if I can dig it out.A good excuse to listen to their albums again.Micheal J Powell was involved with them,he went on to produce some awesome stuff!
