Pete S Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Same happened with this record by (I think) Kool Blues on Capsoul, I saw it listed for about 100 quid and I found something like 26 copies for $5 each, in the end I was giving them away...still see it for 100 but has anyone ever bought it? I don't have much luck buying multiple records...except that Nino Tempo thing, bought 50 and sold them for £20 each (others were selling them at 30)
Guest Codfromderby Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Richard Domar used to list that Herb Ryals at something like £50 so I found 4 copies, listed them for £50, then £40 and so on until they went for £10 each...this is going back a bit, 1999 your right about the richard domar thing, as well as herb ryalls proud as punch was also listed by richard at 60, plus another obscure thing from ive found by the diadems listed at 50, posted this thread up originally to see if anyone had heard of them or if they were played at any time, especially interested in the proud as punch 45 as they soundlike a white group which is a bit strange for stax, love to put up sound files but cant do them yet, but for those that are interested herb ryalls sounds like a poor mans jerry naylor, proud as punch sounds like a white version of "i love her so much it hurts" and georgie porgie according to jack bollington sounds like a bad neil sedaka b side.
