Paulb Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Dawn and Sunset - Move in a room - DV&T Seriously good funk edged dancer from the band that did 'What is it' as played by Butch and others. This is their only other release. Killer intro followed by a fantastic vocal. Backed with a great ballad. A tough record to get. Vg++ £100 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G464NE8Wh6M King Floyd - Times have changed - Pulsar Gospel infused funk dancer that ticks all the boxes. Championed by Karl Heard and many more over the past few years. White demo, Vg++, slight damage to label but nothing too bad. £45 Nurons - Can't do enough girl / disco hustle - stage art Killer double sider that isn't widely known. Can't do enough girl is a northern / funk dancer and the flip is wah wah funk heaven and an old Paul Sadot spin. Disco Hustle is the first track on the mixcloud link Ex £70 https://soundcloud.com/thenurons https://www.mixcloud.com/paul-barker2/funk-disco-and-70s-rare-soul-records/ Wylie Trass - Since you've been gone - Pashlo Top notch semi known gem from Wylie Trass. A unique sounding record. Another tough one. Ex £100 MVT - Nothing I'd rather be than your weakness - Forte Soulful perfection. Same backing as Gene Williams and Lee Harris. Ex £25
Liljimmycrank Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Dawn & sunset is a tough one. Adam Topping sold one for more than that a few months ago, bargain i'd say
Paulb Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 Yep, they are both crackers. Don't want to sell any of them but needs must
