to be honest...the tony hestor is on pameline (have noticed that there is a proper issue on magic city or is a bootleg too because on my copy on pameline was written previusly unissued...someone knows the true story on that record?) and marvin gaye hangin on is a carver taken by the acetate.....

tony hestor never released, think RS played off an acetete of sorts at wigan when it was big, round same time he also played 'down in the dumps', if never officially released cant see why it matters what it is played out on otherwise we'd never hear it out

countless reissues of said tune on lookalike pameline, magic city, gold seven etc. ooi does anyone know who now owns the real deal acetate of tony hestor ? keb darge used to own and play it at one stage but who owns it now ?

There RCA UK dubs of Tony Hestor. Same kind of dubs as the ones that made it on Grapevine eventually. Did RS play them off original acetates or of said dubs?

the first official appearance of the tony hestor (spaceland), was on the grapvine lp, i think but ~I was told it isnt him, and was dubbed on by anderson and co- conspirers in the mid 7ts. not certain myself.
