George Martin And The Cruisers-Tanya

Hello all, I am new to this site but not to digging for rare records. One of my favorite things about it besides the music is to find those records even Google has no answers to. I do most of my digging in the Detroit area so the real weird pieces are normally from around here.

Todays dig was at an estate sale with a few hundred 45s of the kind of records you would expect, Motown. Doo Wop, rareish stuff and then a mystery.

So todays find is not exciting for the music, it is a decent more uptempo cover of the Joe Liggins tune Tanya, but for who performs it. I figure this is the same George Martin and the Cruisers credited on the PG release of Sherri Taylor's-He's The One Who Rings My Bell. The only google result led me here and a discussion if the PG release was a fake. Someone in that thread had the feeling that the band was a joke name for the bootleg. The only other real clue is the production credit of Daisey Holland. I could no find anything if there was a Daisey related to the famous Hollands. So anyways if there is anything someone knows...
