Guest Bearsy Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Can someone put me out my misery please, I'm pretty sure when I got in the scene about 6/7 years ago I heard a tune I thought was by Al Wilson and I think it was called something like "love you". Have I got titles and artist all mixed up or is there a tune that exists cos I can't for the life of me find any info on it.. I'm pretty sure it's a rare tune that's why it's bugging me lol Thanks Bearsy

Guest Bearsy Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Al (Alonzo) Wilson - Love You Girl - Nashville Hi Alan is it a rare tune that sounds like its worth a few grand, real quality
Guest Bearsy Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Al (Alonzo) Wilson - Love You Girl - Nashville No it's not that one, the one I'm thinking of is 60s with a bit of male group harmony going on and mid to uptempo maybe detroitish ...
Nickinstoke Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Could it be "Who could be loving you", on Soul City?
Sutty Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Hi Alan is it a rare tune that sounds like its worth a few grand, real quality What criteria is involved in a record sounding like its rare or worth a few grand? what's the giveaway?

Sutty, It had something about it that gave me the impression it is rare as I never heard it and aint since either and the production sounded big and vocals awesome with awesome harmonies too, I remember searching for it high and low with no luck and over last few years it went from me brain but I got electrocuted whilst fitting me shower and it all came back to me so the search is on again but with a brain like mine I doubt everything that runs through it so asking and trying to describe something that is now fast becoming a distant memory is hard to do as putting into words what goes through my brain ain't the easiest thing to do but when I hear a tune sometimes you just have that feeling its a rare one which means expensive but on many occasions I've been pleasantly wrong. Put it this way it dont sound like a run of the mill average cheap tune, don't even dare ask me what one of them is lolol
Guest Bearsy Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Could it be "Who could be loving you", on Soul City? No not that one I'm sure it was only a 2 word title.

Guest Bearsy Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 "Help Me" on WAND?
