Mmm could be the issues that's rattling me brains as remember chatting to someone in a state of my usual oblivion mess and was offered an issue but could of sworn it was on another label than Dunhill, I must learn to not talk records when slightly intoxicated cos a few weeks later me brain wakes up all confused lol

post-15393-0-00892800-1351559589_thumb.j There's a very scarce French RCA of this.

Ahh that could be the one I had a chat about, nice one cheers my mind is at rest now lol

If you think the French one is tough, well, I recall hearing the rumour of a Japanese RCA 7" existing...then I saw one...count the known copies on your fingers...on one hand...not including the thumb! Plus it has a push-out centre, so it looks like a vintage UK press...nice!

Centre is not spelt center. :)

With apologies Steve..I've been away from Blighty for too long

Not sure I've ever posted a picture of it online, so ladies and gentlemen (...and Benji  ) of the Rare Soul scene, I give you the Japanese RCA 7" complete with 'tri-centre'

(scan now removed - blink and you miss it! )

Apology accepted. Ditto WOW. I thought I was good with my French copy. Always someone better. I remember being smug when I managed to obtain That Driving Beat LP after having the EP for a while. Then got told it was issued in Lebanon or maybe Libya by Dave Thorley.

Not to do with this side of the UK 45 but .....

When Bobby Hutton played Prestatyn, Paul Temple fetched a beat up copy of the UK 45 to the weekender to get it signed.

I showed it to Bobby & he was blown away. He wanted a copy badly ......

... needless to say, he went back to the States with Paul's copy in his luggage.

Wonder if a similar thing happened when Willie came here to perform ???

Are there copies of this record that are a bit off center? I got a copy on Dunhill, promo/demo, the vinyl pressing, and it is a bit off center. I was wondering if this is a common problem with this record or not? Wondering if I should bother looking for an on center copy or be happy with what I have. Thanks :hatsoff2:
