4. Call On Me — PERCY MILEM (Goldwax)……..Mint-……Gritty, Goldwax Northern honest as the day is long, with a genuine pounding beat and heartfelt vocals that are the equal of Otis Redding and James Carr………..£120

5. Don’t Forget Poor Me — THE LOVELETTES (Cap City)…….Mint-………Girl-group Northern Soul dancer with that real 60’s sound no-one could reproduce in modern times……..£40

6. Can’t Forget The One I Love — PATTI AUSTIN (Columbia demo)………Top class singer who was always in-demand on other artiste’s sessions to add a touch of soul quality, excels here on a 1972 Pam Sawyer-Leon Ware song that could be Crossover or Northern, will please all who hear it…….£35

7. Find A Love / Jive Talk — GAMBRELLS (Pioneer)……Mint-……absolute class rarity where you have two great sides in differing moods; I like the suave, sophisticated mid-tempo Find A Love best (at the moment) as it’s one you can’t help want to dance to, even when there’s no dancefloor in sight! Filp-side Jive Talk is much quicker with a solid N. Soul beat and you can see this going big if ever a DJ spun it out. Two top sides both with quality stamped into the matrix of your mind……….£60
