neckender Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 help wanted please, did this record ever come out as a single? was it an LP track? Acetate? Regards confused dot com Yes, originally played from on a dub at the end of the 7ts by dave withers. An original motown 10" acetate of the song did finally turn up in the 8ts. Was in the collection of duncan morris for a few years (anyone remember him) and then finally went to a better home in my collection! 1 1
Northern Soul Uk Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Love this, but prefer 'If you ever get your hands on love', even more rare I would think?

Was in the collection of duncan morris for a few years (anyone remember him) I remember Duncan...used to avidly collect acetates...I swapped a few with him many, many...many...years ago! He used to live in Grays in Essex and drive a VW Beetle...which he drove across country once to pick up a Bernard Williams Virtue acetate from a friend! Don't think he is of the scene anymore...now lives in Leeds?
