Weingarden Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 A larger-than-life U.S. collector and DJ with a great ear and a kind heart. Spun with him many times and he never failed to have me peeking at the turntable at least a few times during the course of the evening. Too young to go... 1

Guest meaty Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Gonna miss my good friend dearly. A true record wizard, master chef, loving partner to a great woman, and a HUGE heart. Been crying all day... and it will continue through the night.

Dysonsoul Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 This really is awfull news ,Hooked up with Tony on various trips stateside-most recent was around four years ago when Dick john came along too.Tony took the time out to spend most of the trip with us and run us around Chicago,it ended up being a fantastic time such a great laugh and i got us all into a guys place that was untouched we just split the 45's equally,Strangely enough i'm actually doing this story for the book, now. It's a shame your story isn't finnished really wanted you in it mate. One of the nicest and most passionate music guys i've met. My best wishes to all of Tony's family and friends at this sad time. 2
Greg Belson Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Sad, sad news! R.I.P. indeed....I remember heading to his crib something like 10 years ago, and he dug out a stack of Mod-Art related gear. I gripped a nice haul of 45's including a Georgetta McCoy cut....he was flossing his new find for the week, which was the Billy John 'Slap it to me' on Jin. He was all over that 45, I think he played it like 5 times straight.....In Power, Mr Janda 1
Chalky Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Sad news. My sympathies and condolences to Tony's family and friends.
