tone5446 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 I was listening to the great Peter Young on Smoooove FM last Saturday and he played D.Bank's Our love is in the pocket, but it was a different mix to the one we usually hear. Does anybody know anything about it? Ta! Tony

Jerry Hipkiss Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 The version on the Crimson CD compilation "This is Northern Soul" is different to the 45 - I take it it's the album version as mentioned? Hippo.
Wally Francis Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Could be the version of the ATCO album.
pikeys dog Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Goldmine put out a Darrell Banks CD which contained some alternate versions - not sure if this was one of 'em tho'.

Anyone know just how many times the DEMOs came out for Darrell Banks; I bought a Mint Green & White Stateside Demo in the 1970's which is at best the third time it came out. There has recently been a TEST press on ManshipsI once heard about a London DEMO with written Titles/Credits?The Stateside Red & White DEMO has misspelled title - is there also one with a correctly spelled title? All of this leaves my Green & White at best, 3rd time out as a DEMO London 10070 DJ - Open The Door To Your Heart / Our Love Is In The Pocket Stateside 536 Red & White DJ - Open The Door Of Your Heart / Our Love Is In The Pocket Stateside 536 Green & White DJ - Open The Door To Your Heart / Our Love Is In The Pocket It is difficult to find on any of the above DEMOs Anyone any idea of current values; Edited January 22, 2006 by 45cellar
