Guest JimSLH Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Surely this has to be up there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG8CE7KY3Ag
Peter99 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 How's about this baby! Love the tyric "a little boy and girl going out". Great vocals from Marvin - got summer written all over it! Marvin Gaye - Where are we Going Peter
Davenpete Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 (edited) Home Is Where The Heart Is - the ultimate soul together record back in the early 80s, also very 'up' and of the same period Catch Me by the Pockets (now that's a PROPER record), Eddie Holman 'Where Have You Been All My Life'. On a more 'northern' line Catch You On The Rebound - Brenton Wood (a big fav of Les Cokell's)... And the Parliaments Don't Be Sore At Me - if for no other reason than the lyric 'my mouth wrote a cheque that my heart couldn't cash'. Dx Edited October 26, 2012 by DaveNPete 1
