Sunnysoul Posted October 17, 2012 Share Posted October 17, 2012 I've also had a few John Gary Wiliams sealed LPs pass through my hands over time and they were heat damaged as well ... always brings to mind Rob Bowman's book on Stax's last dying days in and around '74 when the company was apparently having difficulty finding pressing plants to press up records for release to try to keep the company afloat and stave off the receivers etc .. not only John Gary Williams LPs but I've seen a fair amount of other Stax label releases both 45s and LPs from around '74 of poor quality vinyl , often dimpled , edge warped etc Link to comment Social source share More sharing options...
