Was there meant to be a scan with your post?

Get hip to yourself/The cold letter... released on Loma (2027), January 1966. Both sides written & produced by Leonard Jewel Smith.

Vinyl? Not seen one. Everything on Loma came out on styrene.

Owned 3 of these (yes!) in the past and seen more, pretty sure were all styrene. On the other hand , didn't think there was enough mass demand for this ( as good as 'hip' is) to the point where someone thought a vinyl boot was in order ?

I've seem promos of this much more frequently than stock.

the first year I was doing my radio show someone called me up and asked me if I had a song that went like "get hip to yourself" (he sang the melody). it was crazy that this chicago dude was remembering the probably 2 plays of this random LA record on the radio. Actually lots of people remember hearing a super obscure song once and get excited when they hear it on my show and call up, being like "I remember that and have been looking for 40 years."
