The last line in the 4th stanza, should read: "And I'd "end my life by cut(tin') my wrist.

The first 2 lines in the 5th stanza should read: "You speak to me and then I light up like a socket,

"You call my name and I come to you like a rocket"

Don't forget that there are two different versions: 1) the original Correc-Tone (1962), and SonBert (early1964)/Ric Tic (later1964).

I've been searching for those lyrics for one week, and you gave me an ultra fast response ! Great forum here !

@RobbK : I am part of an old fashionned R&B band, here in France, and was searching for those lyrics to make a cover of.... the Correc-Tone version, which sounds greater for me !
