Jhsoulnotts Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 nah, they're just looking for offers, seems to be standard practice on ebay at the minute!
Tiberius Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 https://www.ebay.com/...=item2ec177d687 In a word no. Sensibly I can only assume the 1 offer is for significantly less than the asking price. It's a 20 odd quider tops imo. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wesley-Paige-Ive-Got-to-Find-Out-For-Myself-rare-Northern-Soul-45-Better-Days-/251152489253?nma=true&si=37Kn7e%2BpzkxIKIdsMjcR9EZyVNI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Gene-r Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 (edited) I think it's a ploy used by a lot of US dealers, in that they'll set a BIN price at a ridiculous level, but allow you to make a best offer. That way, they can vet the offers they've had and ensure that it doesn't go for lower than they expected. Additionally, they can then choose whether or not to accept what offer they consider reasonable. Edited September 28, 2012 by Gene-R
