Guest miff Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Got to admit to loving this guy, Nearly all his records are pure magic IMO Had the pleasure to see him perform live here in cleethorpes in the early 80s (Bunnys Place) Now is it me or do you never her his records played out, Is it because they have been played in the past or are his records deemed to common, or has he just been over looked or just to poppy ??? Got to agree there mate .One of the best tracks to listen to when your driving down the M6 in the early hours............ BTW When the man played St Ives in 77 he gave the reed from his sax to a guy from Bedford (Woody) afler his spot.Wonder if he still has it.
