ImberBoy Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Does anyone know the track "Muhammed Ali"Â I think Karl Heard played it at Bids?
Sebastian Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) I have no idea, but it might be Chuck Cornish "A Tribute To Mohammed Ali" on WHITE CLIFFS: https://www.thesoulgirl.com/music/Northern%20Soul%2063/Chuck%20Cornish%20-%20A%20Tribute%20To%20Mohammed%20Ali%20-%20White%20Cliffs.mp3 Has got same backing track as Senator Jones "Do You Love Me": Edited September 23, 2012 by Sebastian

Biggordy Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Cracking New Orleans tunes, what do they go for?
Stubbsy Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) Cracking New Orleans tunes, what do they go for? Senator Jones on Shagg bloody expensive - £700'ish? Chuck Cornish on White Cliffs label, quite a lot cheaper but pretty hard to find! Don't know what going rate is. I picked one up some time ago on ebay very cheap but pretty battered copy. First heard it played by Des Parker at Solid Hit Soul. Is this going/gone big then if Shaun C & Karl H are currently spinning it? Edited September 24, 2012 by Stubbsy
Guest matt tees Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I am sure Karl H would have played it many moons ago but I have had it in my box for a few years now and it has been steadily moving up my playlist, I absolutely love it and every time I've spun it, it always seems to get a good reaction.
Md Records Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I don't think Karl played it, though I played it a few times at Bidds, and as Sean rightly says - It gets a good reaction Des
Pomonkey Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Have both, Chuck Cornish gets the dancefloor going but the Senator Jones is in a completely different league, read a review once where the writer wrote "this record makes me throw chairs across the room", great description.
