I found it quite a strange experience to be honest, I didn't realise every track was meant to be discussed and I had nothing with me to refer to so I had to make the lot up on the spot. Don't think I made too many mistakes. I"m sure someone will let me know if I did. Had to have a little laugh though, at the end I was asked if I wanted anything playing and I said oh right well my favourite record is the Yum Yums but I love things like Bari Track, Al Kent, Willie Tee (and a few others) and it's edited to say "can you play the Yum Yums and I really love Joannie Sommers" - which is actually true - but it just sounds amusing, you'll see what I mean...

Cobblers!

Sorry Pete - it had to be done because little things like that amuse me.

I'll have a listen. Might not get it all - will it be available as a downloadable podcast? You must have the where with all to do that?

Cheers

Peter

Absolutely cracking.

All that factual stuff knocks my socks off!

Pete - I've known plenty of people with letters in front of and behind their names who haven't got the knowledge and passion for their chosen subject that you have.

Some 'Bostin' tunes there mate, and I learnt stuff too! Anyone who didn't listen really should do!

Almost made up for the demise of 'lost vinyl gems of the 60s' podcast series.

I won't tell Davina how you feel about Joannie Summers either!

Some great stuff on there. Is it available to listen to with you talking Pete?

Oh doesn't the podcast have me on it Joan?

I thought it would do.

I'll post it myself and put the link here when done.

Thanks for listening and the comments above everyone.

podcast doesn't appear to be up yet and I can't upload it for some reason - 2 hour show, maybe file is too big? Can't even attach the file to mixcloud uploader.
