Markw Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 "And meanwhile my top want sits on Ebay unwatched and at $3........Happy days indeed" Sorry to go slightly off topic, but some guidance please. How can you tell that something on Ebay is unwatched? Or watched for that matter?
Autumnstoned Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) Agreed - United Sounds - it's fantastic The other two not doing it for me. Edited September 16, 2012 by autumnstoned

Autumnstoned Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Heard Greg Belson play this at GoGo Children - superb. I've heard it at the 100 Club a few times - think Butch plays it - has to be one of the best records played on the scene at the moment.

Guest Brett F Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Agreed - United Sounds - it's fantastic The other two not doing it for me. That's fair enough, not everybody has an ear for music..

Hope you tipped him off lol. looks like i owe Binsy a few beers when he picked up a copy for me for £30 many years ago
NEV Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Cunnie already has the Ernie Johnson if I'm not mistaken Wayne ?? 1
Greg Belson Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Heard Greg Belson play this at GoGo Children - superb. Sounded great through that PA, mate.....also got to spin it the Hip City soul club weekender on the Friday, (Butch spun it on the Saturday), and also played it at Soul Funk-tion in Wolverhampton. Killer 45! (with a fantastic flip too, for those that like a great ballad.) 1
Milliontearsoul Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Le Frank'o " keep on gettin' down " sounds much better than the Ernie Johnson's one up there ! 1
Cunnie Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Wonder if Cunnie won the Ernie Johnson? Hope you tipped him off lol. looks like i owe Binsy a few beers when he picked up a copy for me for £30 many years ago Got my Ernie Johnson off Jens for a hell of a lot than this went for but not as cheap as Sean's sadly. Mine's a red & white issue & they seem to be a lot scarcer than the demo's. Was also re-recorded by him on another label (forgot the label for the moment) but the Rowan version is far superior. Not reached anywhere near it's peak price wise yet as demand will soar when folks get to hear it & Sam starts playing it Must thank Wayne Arbon & Brett Franklin for alerting me to said record. 1

Prophonics 2029 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 That's funny, I tried it before and it went to the correct link.
boba Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 probably because you're logged on and viewing a specific mix already or something like that
Steve G Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I've heard it at the 100 Club a few times - think Butch plays it - has to be one of the best records played on the scene at the moment. Yes Butch spin, and a great record.
