Tomangoes Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Heard this the other day for the first time in years. It brought goosebumps etc and really is one of those tunes that will stand the test of time. My problem is where exactly does the lyric 'lend a hand' get spoken in the record? Mutt and Jeff - Ed
Pete S Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Heard this the other day for the first time in years. Mutt and Jeff - Ed Lenny Hutton??? (p.s. at the end of the chorus when they go 'hey, hey', the background singers say 'lend a hand', also on the first line when he sinfs 'to this lonely man', it's in response to the backing singers
