Ian Dewhirst
plus has anyone seen a US ISSUE? No, only a U.S. demo in my experience. And yes. I can remember Levine playing it first @ the Mecca, several times over a number of weeks. I think it's fair to say that the record spouted controversy from the start - "too gimmicky", "crap", "a pop record" etc, etc. Never took off and didn't last long in reality...... Dave Moore
I remember the other side better. Human Jungle was never a big play that I remember although I still have my copy because of the other side. Here's the flip: Regards, Dave https://youtu.be/NiTEN1-8s7Q Link to comment Social source share
Steve L
Crikey, just listened to this on youtube I reckon I haven't heard it since about 76! I think I'll leave it another 36 years before I bother again 1 Link to comment Social source share
Guest DaveSwift
Levine played it like a follow up to Commodores - The Zoo. That was a monster record (for about two weeks) but Human jungle barely lasted two minutes Link to comment Social source share
Casper
just seen a uk thing on john manships auction personally (tarzan bit omitting) i like it any one remember dancing to this at wigan / mecca was it big?? I like it too Mark ..and when it goes on facebook it seems many do .... thought about re mastering it because the Tarzan call could easy be looped out with another section ... just another project on a shelf .. I have it on Roulette Demo .. never seen an issue apart from the disco demand stuff.. pete Link to comment Social source share
KevH
Levine played it like a follow up to Commodores - The Zoo. That was a monster record (for about two weeks) but Human jungle barely lasted two minutes I thought Human Jungle was played a lot more than folks remember on here.Unless its just one of those tunes that stuck in my psyche. 3/10. Guest DaveSwift
I just remember Ian Levine trying it at Mecca once and it not going anywhere. I think that was back in 74. Maybe someone else tried it later Link to comment Social source share
Swifty
Used to have it also , in my Roulette Demo collecting days , quite liked it to be honest ! Never seen an issue though Cheers Swifty Link to comment Social source share
Guest ScooterNik
It was booted too, wasn't it? Link to comment Social source share
Paul R
It was booted too, wasn't it? Don't know about a boot, but certainly a Pye DD. I remember it from late 74 from Levine. Paul Link to comment Social source share
