Pete S
tell you what pete some people want the shirts off your back I'm grateful for all sales, but when you have a record for £20 and they ask if they can have it for £15, despite you already being £10 cheaper than anyone else, well I just give up. Do they go into the supermarket and say "ah yes, this loaf of bread costs £1.50 but I am only going to give you £1.10 for it" and try to haggle the price down? Chalky
If I was spending £2k on a record I wouldn't be worried about a few extra quid on postage. Besides why should any service that actually costs money be free further down the line? Is it because ou re both on Soul Source? Good luck with the sale. Len
Its 'rife' everywhere, worse now than it's ever been, due to the recession I suppose but some people are so tight! (Not aimed at the "ËœFree Post' post by the way) This morning I quoted a job for £3,000.00 and ended up 'bagging' the order for £2,500.00 - That's 'my bit' gone, so just my overheads it is then, great... What is wrong with people making a little bit of money ffs?! The funniest was when I put the entrance fee up to a soul event from £4.00 - £5.00, a handful of people really moaned but once in the event I would see them paying £100.00 plus for a record! You've got to laugh, although it can be irritating at times. Yes, good luck with the sale....If I make any profit; I may be interested in 'what's to come' All the best, Len Edited September 5, 2012 by LEN Link to comment Social source share
Mark Bicknell
I've included postage on big records as a gesture and thanks but that's my choice however you try getting free postage off the major record dealers lol at the end of the day it's business and if you give it free to one customer you have to give it to all of them so for the sake of 6 quid to get insured postage on a rare record is a small price to pay if it goes tits up and gets broken or something. Regards - Mark Bicknell. 1 Link to comment Social source share
Guest
Is the demo a lot rarer than issue for this? Used to be that the stock copy was rarer...not so sure nowadays...besides the WD looks luverly Link to comment Social source share
John Reed
besides the WD looks luverly Nah, it looks just black and white. The blue and the silver issue, now that looks classy. Two issues went through eBay lasy year, were they both from the same seller? Link to comment Social source share
