Guest Brett F Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) Good plays and great plays there Neil and Wayne..Harold Tyler and Joe Akens just suberb, Wayne the Capri 45' is great, plus Nelly Chollo Rivera is outstanding..on a negative if i never hear Bobby Wilburn ( or Burn ) and that version of ' Im a Dreamer ' then it will be a day too soon, but hey guys you are friends of mine and i can say such things....critique is both positive and negative, but i fear Wayne is becoming a touch too 'Northern ' with The ' Constellations' !!!! ..Thankfully both you guys have a tremendous collection of tunes and i for one will always enjoy your sets. This is said with a tongue in cheek guys...before you both ring me and threaten me with a touch of the old ultra violence..... Brett Edited September 4, 2012 by Brett F

Thankfully we both (as do Filthy Soul) come from a background of playing outstanding ' Soul' music, and not something that was played over 4 years 64-68 and based totally on tempo. Jesus how boring is that, once again thanks to the Filthy Soul guys and girls who helped promote fantastic soul music from the full spectrum of years and based the records they played on quality and not a timescale. These feelings where paramount when myself invited your good self and Mr Arbon to Sheffield's 'Lost Soul Club' to play your incredible vinyl records.........because quality soul music is sadly lacking in many areas in my home city..
