This month, we hit lo-fi funk territory featuring the Shackleford Singers, The Mighty Christian Soldiers out of LA, and we spin for the first time possibly one of the heaviest raw funk gospel funk 45's around with C.K. Brady & the Avent Singers....brutal!

For the 2nd section, it's deep and spiritual time with some sublime offerings culminating in the heavy Seattle super rarity by Famous L. Renfroe.

And to close out this week, we head to the Boddie stable for a 45 currently lighting up dancefloors around the UK....the Silver Kings on Bounty. Plus we highlight the 2 different takes of Rev O.C. Tolberts 'Hard times' 45. Rolyak being the first misspelt pressing, and Rolyat with the reworked drums. Which is better? You decide!
