Posted August 23, 201212 yr I bought this record back in 1975/6 from the late Dave McCadden he always thought it would make it big on the scene Richard Searling played it out at a Manchester club in 1977 and wanted to buy it off me IMHO it's got everything and can't understand why it's not a classic i have waited years for this to be posted on youtube Three Degrees - Tales Are True Edited August 23, 201212 yr by chalky song title added

August 23, 201212 yr It's The Three Degrees - Tales Are True. Can anyone posting videos from Youtube please type in the artist and title for the benifit of those at work and those viewing via mobile devices. Many videos can't be played via mobile devices nd many companies block sites like youtube. If nothing else it will generate some discussion.

August 23, 201212 yr Great tune, I always used to have one until the mid 90s, but had forgotten about it until now! There's a couple for sale at the moment around $40-50 for EX or Minty a good price for a tune that deserves some more recognition for sure. Nice one Andy.
August 23, 201212 yr More of a 'girl group' sound & not very soulful at all (IMHO). They did cut soulful tracks for Swan written by the likes of Norman Johnson, Gene Dozier & Leon Ware back then; did this writing team actually come up with some more soulful songs ?
August 23, 201212 yr One listen and it is plain to see (or hear) why it never took off. As John said girl group, too poppy sounding.
August 23, 201212 yr It's ok. A bit lightweight and too girly for me. A lot worst than this made it big though.
