Taking offers for one week until Monday August 27th. This must be the rarest Alston title. Never seen one for sale before so have to take offers on this. Massive club funk sound with only few copies around, one being in the hands of Mr Fine Wine.

Huge break intro on this baby. Easily the best version. A bit scuffy copy but plays decent

Don Hines and Ben Branch Band: Going Crazy / The Masher (Starmaker) VG $250

Mid-tempo new breed r&b rarity. Only the second copy to come up from what I can gather. Virtually unknown and thankfully not booted either

Funk classic with break. Should be in every collection. Clean copy in company sleeve

Fabulous sweet x-over with razor sharp horns. The flip is the better known northern side, but after discovering the "I Really Love You" side this 45 has taken off big time

Guaranteed original copy with "Bell Sound" stamp in dead wax. Funky soul biggie of the past few years

Joey Gilmore: Do It To Me One More Time / Somebody Done Took My Baby And Gone (Saadia) M- $75

Labels reversed as on lot of the copies. Strong double sider on the very very collectable Saadia loogo

John Jones: Tough Love / The Society Page (Jo-Lux) VG $400

Total obscurity outta Pasadena, California. Great gritty crossover soul sound. The only copy to come up. Was played as a cover up for the past few years. A side plays VG+, B side VG due to one long deeper mark. Listen to both sides

Johnny Jackson: Love Came Suddenly / Walk Down My Street (Pro 7) VG $250

Obscure xover with slamming drums. Make sure to listen to the full clip as the song really builds towards the end. One of the best things I've heard in a long time. The producer played guitar on a lot of the sessions in St. Louis including the Zudan label stuff. Johnny Jackson was actually from Chicago and worked only this one session with the producer before going back to Chicago

Excellent Ohio sweet soul 45. Scratchy but still plays decent as you can hear

Joseph Bowman: Fairlane Vera / What Is Love (United) VG+/VG- $175

Heavy Carolina funk rarity b/w a fragile sweet soul side. A side has a weird tiny dirt spot in start that you can hear for couple rotations. Flip has couple deeper marks that sound especially cause the sweet soul side is so delicate, so vg- on the ballad side

Last Days And Time: Fly Away / I'm On Your Side (Magic) EX $600

Very hard to find and lesser known funky modern dancer b/w a sublime sweet soul side. Pretty much never comes up

Lenis Guess: Thank Goodness Gotta Good Woman (Peanut Country) EX $100

The original version later done by Page One. This is the one for the dancers

"Lil" Ernie Johnson: Doing Allright (Ride) G+ $20

Rough looking copy that plays pretty decent

One of the oddest records on this list. Only released in Peru on a 45! Sublime 70's soul and the only way to get it on a 45

Nairobi Sisters: Promised Land / Dub (Flames) VG+ $90

Reggae funk rarity with that intro break. In huge demand this rarely comes up and has gone for crazy money in the past

Natural High: That's Why / The Whole World Is Dancin' (Malaco) EX $50

Excellent late 70's mid-tempo modern with strong vocals. Two nice sides

Nick Allen: Hard Way To Go / Don't Make Me Be What You Don't Want Me To Be (Walas) M- $100

Current mega in-demander for a good reason. Two strong sides

Gritty funky group soul dancer on the collectable Saru label. Nice flip too

Well used but still a decent play copy of this DC funk cut that would work well in a more progressive soul set too

The Soul In-Pressions: Girl Don't Worry / Zing (Aquarius) VG- $300

Extremely hard to find sweet soul killer from Highland Park, Michigan. Never comes up clean. This copy has soft hairlines on the surface but plays pretty decent especially on the A side. Label tears as on most copies

The Stony Island Band: Stony Island Band (Glades) M- $20

Late 70's funk cut that was re-issued by Jazzman. Get the original here for pretty much the price of the re-issue

Touch Of Class: Love Means Everything / Said It Before (Midsong) EX $175

Extremely rare issue copy with "Love Means Everything". The demo with "Said It Before" comes up but this issue is really tricky to source. Strong 70's modern dancer

Unique Blend: Yes I'm In Love / Old Fashioned Woman (Eastbound) VG+ $350

Another really hard to find issue copy (tho the demo has both sides too) and one of the biggest modern sounds. B side label is mashed and thus reduced in price

W.D. Jordan: You Can't Keep Running Away (Silver City) VG- $200

Obscure modern dancer that I've seen only once before. There is a mark in the middle that pops very litely so graded at VG-. Listen to the long soundfile and you'll hear it's a good play out copy
